This is the most versatile profile for workplace and general lighting. The H50 has been designed with upward and downward illumination in mind. Directing an additional beam of light at the ceiling makes the room seem bigger and reduces eye strain. The H profiles are also available in the embedded version with the frameless as well as the slightly and deeply recessed options, which allows one to create a unique lighting arrangement.
Mounting
The H50.68 profiles are available in three mounting types:
S suspended, V built-in shallow recessed, W built-in recessed deep recessed. In the suspended version, there is a choice between two types of light spread - direct or direct/indirect.
Materials and finishing
The H50.68 profile is made of aluminum powder-coated in white, gray, black or other color on request. Available with linear, BB-Chili or BB-Tube modules. Satin, microprismatic or microcrystalline diffusers are recommended.
BB-Chli modules
The BB-Chili is based on Bartenbach technology with LFO optics and with a 30 and 60 degree beam spread angle.
BB-Tube modules
The BB-Tube module uses LFO optics developed in the Bartenbach lab. Beam spread angle of 30 or 60 degrees. The light source can be adjusted vertically or horizontally by tilting it up to 90 degrees or rotating them up to 355 degrees around their axis. Available for S mounting variants.
LFO technology
Researchers at the Bartenbach laboratory in Austria have developed the technology to create a line of modern BB-Chili and BB-Tube luminaires. Its greatest strength lies in what cannot be seen, as light is emitted in a way that is invisible to the eye. Its innovative optics design ensures that light is focused in a as small space as possible and then disperses unobtrusively throughout the room.
